What we collect
When analytics is enabled, RWAVE records the page path, random rotating browser and session IDs, event time, coarse acquisition category, and fixed events such as selecting files, completing a workflow, downloading results, or opening an optional support method. Event properties use coarse groups only. We do not receive the amount or confirmation of QR-code support payments.
For referrals, we keep only the referring domain. We do not keep full referrer URLs, query text, or URL parameters.
What analytics does not collect
Most RWAVE tools process content entirely in your browser. Video Import uses the optional loopback-only RWAVE Helper on your Mac; media processing and optional Chrome or Safari cookie access remain local. Bilingual Subtitle can open the source website and Trancy's official installation page, which are governed by their own policies. SRT Translator's default ChatGPT Manual Mode parses, batches, merges and saves progress only in your browser; you decide what prepared prompt to paste into ChatGPT, under your ChatGPT account's policies. Only if you deliberately select API Mode are English cue text and nearby context sent through RWAVE's protected backend to OpenAI; the original file, filename and timestamps are not sent, and the API key never reaches the browser. RWAVE analytics does not receive RAW files, image bytes, media files, browser cookies, clipboard contents, filenames, camera metadata, dimensions, selection coordinates, naming rules, watermark text, pasted data, names, emails, precise location or payment details. Hosting and AI providers may process routine request data under their own policies.
Retention and purpose
Product events automatically expire after 90 days. The browser identifier also rotates after 90 days. We use aggregated funnel evidence to improve activation, experienced value, checkout intent, verified purchase, return use, and recommendation. Commerce records may require a different retention period for accounting, fraud, and legal obligations.
Your controls
Global Privacy Control and browser Do Not Track are honored automatically. You can turn analytics off or delete events associated with this browser’s current anonymous ID below. Deletion cannot identify or remove records from an older or different browser ID.
